about us
Kenmore Golf Course - 'Perthshire's Finest 9 Holes' - opened in 1992 on converted farmland in the heart of highland Perthshire by the banks of the Silvery Tay. The design of the golf course was quite straight forward as the landscape was, almost unbelievably, perfect for a golf course.
The mildly undulating fields, the natural mounds with mature Scots pine and the ditch and Dyke boundaries allowed the layout to follow and utilize the natural features. The second is one of the nicest holes you could imagine. Here, you tee it up and hit out of a mound of trees onto a banked fairway. The green is slightly elevated and surrounded by banks, which help hold the ball on the green.
Golf at Kenmore is testing but certainly not tedious and you will not be troubled with the customary frustrating experiences of slow play and 5 hour rounds. Making it just ideal for families wishing to enjoy golf together, and ladies for which the complex here is particularly suitable and friendly. Ladies golf society and club outings are particularly welcome here.
Kenmore is also a superb destination for any golf society outing, and for corporate golf days where exciting golf can be mixed with many other challenges which await here, such as superb adventure sports, water sports, fishing and other surrounding outdoor activities – perfect for mixing business with fun too.
For residential golf outings and golf breaks in Scotland, out luxury cottages and lodges provide the very best of guest and group accommodation, with superb catering and hospitality to match at The Courtyard.
