Welcome to Kenmore Golf Course at Mains of Taymouth Highland Country Resort – an exciting new addition to the wonderful golf courses in Angus in the east of Scotland, providing a new dimension to golf breaks, family golf, ladies golf, golf outings and corporate and society golf days and breaks in Scotland.

Kenmore golf course, which surrounds the Mains of Taymouth Estate, has been designed to be a challenge for all levels of golfer. Beautiful panoramic views of Loch Tay Estuary and Breadalbane beyond give this course a wide open feel, but don’t let this fool you – each hole will test your shot making ability.

Kenmore opened in 1992 on converted farmland in the heart of highland Perthshire by the banks of the Silvery Tay. The design of the golf course was quite straight forward as the landscape was, almost unbelievably, perfect for a golf course.

Kenmore golf course has already matured into a first class course and the ex Gleneagles greenkeeper ensures that the course is always in first class condition. Visitors are always welcome and tend to come back again and again. The course at 6052 yards is no push over. The par 5 fourth is 560 yards and only one of the par 4`s , the 2nd, is under 400yards. The  second is, however, one of the nicest holes you could imagine - teeing up hitting out of a mound of trees down a snaking fairway which banks encouraging the ball to keep on the fairway and the green is slightly elevated surrounded by banks to help hold the ball on the green. The fairways are generous and the rough kept short which tends to encourage an unhindered round. The course is a fair test of golf  in magnificent surroundings!
